The World Customs Organization – Organisation Mondiale des Douanes and World Trade Organization – WTO have signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration on Customs and trade matters. Signed by WCO Secretary General Ian Saunders and WTO Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala on 21 January 2025 during the World Economic Forum, the agreement focuses on:

Aligning efforts on intellectual property rights enforcement
