Welcome to the African Startups and SMEs in Export & Trade SUMMIT, the flagship program of the African Startups and SMEs in Export & Trade Secretariat – ASSETS. Our mission is to support African startups and SMEs in accessing global markets, fostering innovation, and promoting sustainable and inclusive trade practices. We believe that by organizing this summit, we can create a platform for African startups and SMEs to engage in discussions, learn from experts, and collaborate on strategies to take advantage of the AFCFTA opportunity.

The theme for the African Startups and SMEs in Export & Trade SUMMIT is “Strategically Positioning Startups and SMEs to Take Advantage of the AFCFTA Opportunity.” The summit will bring together key stakeholders from across the African continent and beyond to discuss strategies and best practices for startups and SMEs to take advantage of the AFCFTA opportunity.
