Welcome to the Association of Startups and SMEs in Export & Trade – ASSET Africa. Our mission is to support African startups and SMEs in accessing global markets, fostering innovation, and promoting sustainable and inclusive trade practices. We believe that by working together, we can create a thriving ecosystem that enables African startups and SMEs to compete and succeed on a global scale.

The Association is made up of African startups and SMEs engaged in international trade and export markets. The Association serves as a forum for members to network, share information and best practices, and engage in advocacy activities. The Association also provides feedback to the Secretariat on the relevance and effectiveness of ASSETS’ programs and services
